Bee Resilient teaches young people in Rodney to read a changing climate through its pollinators. The next step is equipment: microscopes, sensors and safety gear they can use in the garden, at the hive and in the classroom.
Two ways to give
Card donations reach us in seconds and go straight to equipment. Gifts of $500 and over can be receipted through Matakana Community Group, our registered charitable umbrella, so they are tax-deductible.

Larger donations are held and receipted by Matakana Community Group, a registered charity. You receive a tax-deductible receipt for your IR3 or IR526 claim.

Give a hive $2,000Natives and nectar plants chosen to flower across the seasons, planted by the children and monitored as a living dataset.
Plant a garden $3,000A classroom digital microscope, a portable field scope and imaging kit, so a child can see a pollen grain for the first time.
Fund the lab $40,000The big one. A weather-protected, solar-powered outdoor learning space built at a participating school, so pollinator and resilience science can be taught there year-round. Fundable in parts, or named for your family or business.
